Press Reviews
"Balboa mixed good musicianship with art rock and a garage aesthetic to make a record that sounded like a mix of King Crimons and the Ramones. "Live Like This" sounds good to this day. . . Balboa was the prime motivator for the primordial punk/new wave scene in town. This band was the first in what has become a tradition for Knoxville's best bands: They were good enought to make it big, but never in the right place at the right time." Metro Pulse. |
