Artist History Ryan (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, harmonica) and Josh (lead guitar, vocals) met at DePauw University way back in 1992. Uniting as Syd's Misconception in 1994, they played coffee shops and restaurants around Greencastle, Indiana. In 1995, the band reached its maximum size with the addition of a percussionist, Bongo Dave. Little did they know then that graduation would whirl them apart to the far corners of the country, putting the band on hiatus for several years. Now, Ryan and Josh have reunited in the San Francisco Bay Area and are busy playing shows and writing new songs. They still await the fated return of Bongo Dave...
