Press Reviews
Review- SME 150 In my attempt to remain completely bias with my fellow artists on our label, BrainCube records, I have happed upon one of my co-artists and decided I would review his LP "Me and Hook". After listening to the entire CD, I have simply fell in love with SME's ability to capture beats and make them rumble through your speakers as if its coming out after you. The title track "Me and Hook" hosts some of the best sampling and voice over work I have heard in some time, followed up by some solidity in his feel for hard hitting beats! "Light" was another track that grabbed my attention, solid hooks and very well composed arrangement of melody and rythem. In all, I would rate SME 150's "Me and Hook" 8 of 10, look forward to seeing more of this digital mastermind from Seattle.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Review By DJ Krunk of "The 2K Experiment" |
