Little Known Fact formed in November of '00 when Chad met up with Tom, Shane and Kam at Kam's house..they knew they needed some work of course..after countless practices and some shows..The band found a distinct sound combining Pop Punk with Skate punk with Some emo bits here and there..the band has now evolved greatly from what they started out as..the band is still continuing to play as many shows as possible to attract fans to thier brand of "pop/skate/emo/hardcore" and seem to be doing well..the band is sponsored by Walker Clothing Company in San Diego and is looking foward to a spot on www.swell.com..wow..i think thats enough.. :) |

Press Reviews
Spare Change Magazine Review(November 2001) -
4 piece punk band from Southern California. How many times do you hear that? Quite a bit in my biz. Usually it's a bad thing to get lumped into a stereotype like that. But I'm honestly starting to believe there's gotta be something in the water in SoCal. Why on earth are there so many damn good bands coming out of such a localized area?
This band has a good clean melodic punk sound. I would say they sound a lot like Blink 182, but then a lot of you would get turned off and stop reading. But for all the pop hoopla surrounding Blink 182, the write good songs and are a lot of fun to watch. Same case with Little Known Fact. They write catchy songs, and they perform them well. What more could you ask for?
Though there are only 4 songs on this EP, I like every one of them. I'd describe them by name, but there EP has no label, and I can't find a track list. If I had a little more time, I'd download the tracks on their MP3 site and see if I could identify them then. But instead I'll make you do it, because this band is worth listening to.
If you like melodic punk, do yourself a favor and hit their websites and download their MP3s. It's free, so you have no excuse. According to their info, they are in the process of touring Southern California, and will be heading into the studio soon to record a full length album. That's one album I'll be looking forward to.
