"Finally, the issue of the satanic/sexual fliers which were posted on Mr. Braun's art room wall must also be dealt with. I understand all fliers must receive school approval to be posted. I definately do not want my son to be daily exposed to what was worded on these gruesome fliers and understand they have been removed. I hereby request a copy of the flier as I am responsible to prepare the recreation room at the Womelsdorf Boro Hall, and they had no knowledge of the type of groups as dipicted in these fliers that were requesting use of their facilities for a youth concert. The Womelsdorf Recreation Boad is entitled to be fully informed of the nature of the groups applying for use of their rooms in making their decisions and approvals."...Respectfully,Linda J. Petsu...(Letter to area school about our flyers and performances)...........................................................................hey guys. just thought i would mention that its about damn time a death metal band came around to kick my ass around. you tunes inspired me to make a bunch of pipe bombs and assert myself in a small-town high school. thanks and keep it up.-Smutty of The Psychedelic Mudpuppets........................................................Being a fan of Metal, I know a good Death Metal band when I see one. Human Flesh Hitting a Fan is NOT a good Death Metal band. Anyone can pick up a guitar, crank up the distortion, slam strings randomly, and growl into a mic. But it takes special talent to do it this poorly. I should have been clued in to this band's stellar quality when I noticed one song titled "The Sacrificial Slaughter of the Goat." Combine that with the stunning $2.49 is profit they've gotten through MP3.com, and you can clearly see that this band is worthy of praise. Seeing as "The Sacrificial Slaughter of the Goat" is such an intriguing name for a song, I decided to listen to that one first. I was greeted with what sounded like a sheep more than a goat, then a decent guitar riff. Off to a good start. But moment after being graced with what I thought was going to be good guitar playing, I was sucked into the torment of the band's real sound. A child with only one arm and Down Syndrome can sustain a better rhythm than their drummer. I've always wondered what makes for a really bad drummer besides lack of rhythm. This guy has it all. Not only can't he hold a rhythm, he also will suddenly change beats for no reason. He also has mastered the art of suddenly changing tempo. Another feat I never thought possible. I mentioned the guitarist pumping out a good riff. Cancel that. What I was actually hearing was the guitarist pumping out a few notes that happened to go together well amidst all the randomness. I don't know if the guitarist suddenly changes riffs for the same reason that the drummer suddenly changes beats, but I suspect this is the case. Perhaps a flying squirrel distracted these people during the recording process. It's the only logical explanation. Could anything else possibly be wrong with this band? Yes. In fact, following popular trend, the lead singer's voice is totally impossible to comprehend. I don't expect to be able to tell what someone is saying in a Death Metal song, but I at least want to be able to tell that it is a human voice and s/he is indeed speaking. This guy just growls into the mic in some sort of order that I can only assume to be predetermined. However, his vocals are about as random as the guitar and drums are. So, if you need a good laugh.
