Artist History
During the past two years of existance, Cephas has been responsible for a respectable amount of controversy; Their frantic energy on stage, coupled with being blatantly, unashamedly Christian was not what many people were expecting. The driving force of Cephas has always been the uncompromising belief of the band. Having grown up with Punk Rock as an escape from the disillusionment that forces kids into subcultures, many Cephas songs are inspired out of a denial of the values that young people are brought up with which offer no hope or purpose. The message was not to conform to religion or a social code, but to accept Jesus as the only answer. Check out the "Oi!" section of www.cephasonline.com to hear more of what Cephas are about and express your views to the band. |
