Artist History
Vladimir Zavgorodny is a Ukrainian composer and multi-instrumentalist. He describes his music as ‘art-fusion’ which means that the two major points of his works are compexity and diversity. His music includes complicated melodies and sophisticated polyphonies – as well as atonal soundscapes and free improvisations. In his two conceptual albums he explores an array of styles and genres – from jazz to techno, from sympho to rock, from world and native to electronics and new age, then to jazz/fusion and psychedelic experiments. Zavgorodny plays both common and exotic instruments, as well as numerous synthesizers and digits, and sometimes let other musicians to take part. His latest project is a newage/fusion collaboration with a blues-oriented guitarist Vasily Kleha featuring soft and melodic unusually orchestrated guitar tunes, resulting in much less complex tracks than his solo works. |
