Artist History The Kernel began in late 1997 as a 3 piece garage band. It was soon evident however that they were destined for much more than simply jamming on the weekends. So with a mixture of the best liquers and the sweetest of smoke plus a little easy work they released their first album 'Shistypho.'They began to tour San Diego's local music seen and soon had a very loyal following. The Kernel just came out of the studio with a new album, 'Estas Hablando.'
