Artist History Tha OCT'z were formed in 1997 by J-L'O.C. The group has grown from 5 or 6 of his closest friends to a collaboration of over 30 members. Releasing 2 demos in 1999, J-L'O.C. dropped his first solo independent CD "Tha OCT'z Present: The Chronicles" in November of 2000, followed by his second, "Letters from a Lost Soul" in March 2002.
