Artist History
Three members of the band, Samuel, Ossi and Sami, have played together for years. Earlier in the 1990´s they formed a proggressive metal- band called Decade. In 1998 these three decided that it was time to "take a walk on the wild side " and try something different, something more. That is when these three fellows gave birth to a new cosmic thing called Silvercold. This all was a result of enforcing their musical image by a new bass player "Wilhelm". |

Press Reviews
" Silvercold emerges with its fluent alternative/metal sound, knocking out a great number of band in its genre, including U.S. Cathcy tunes, although not too obvious, are a result of composing with patience and time. Sending the chords out with a massive beat, taking them back by a flowing voice, it is a outcome of a feeling called kissing the sky or silvercold." - review taken from Radiomafia´s Upteekki, Finnish number 1 rockprogram for new promising bands, in december 2000 - |
