Artist description
Paul Hannan’s songs offer a range of styles
sure to appeal to just about everyone. Paul's
lyrics deftly deal with topics of love and death,
joy and heartbreak, all interspersed in clean
melodies and refreshing arrangements. With
vocals reminiscent of a young James Taylor
and a song writing style some liken to Shawn
Colvin, "Pedal Hard", his debut release,
aptly demonstrates the depths of Paul Hannan
as both a songwriter and performer. |

Artist History
Growing up in a very musical house, Paul has
been playing for whoever would listen since
the age of four. Never taking the idea of
music seriously enough to record or write,
Paul pursued a career in engineering.
More recently, Paul was a member of Bluegrass On Rye
for its' four-year lifetime, and accidentally bumbled into a local
"singer/songwriter" open mic on the very day
that the band did end. That chance encounter
led to opportunities to record on CD's of
Dave Pahanish, and The Gathering Field -
finally culminating in the debut CD
"Pedal Hard", produced by Dave Brown.
