Artist History
Founded 1983 by Cristina (keyboards & vocals), Anton Lubello (bass) and Phil Santschi (drums & lead vocals),the band was first called The Heart Beat Band and played mostly Roots Reggae and Dancehall. It then turned into Skajam and played mostly Ska.But Skajam needed to go back to more Reggae, so they called themselves The MadLighters, who now combine Roots Reggae, Dancehall, Cultural Ragga with Ska, blue beat and mambo, amongst others. |
