Artist History
Lovella began singing as a small child in a church choir at the age of 4, started strumming at the tender age of 8, and wrote her first song at the age of 11 - it was called "STAR". She wrote it while sitting outdoors on a lawnchair one summer evening. She is partially of Cherokee descent and is very in tune with emotions and energy around her. She believes her music and lyrics must come from the heart or they aren't worth persuing.Through the years, Lovella played as a rhythm guitarist for a few bands until 1997 when she got her first taste of singing lead. Shortly after, she formed her own band called, KOGA which received favorable responses from crowds in various Jersey Shore venues and NYC. When Koga met it's demise in September of 1999, Lovella made the decision to go out on her own as a soloist. |
