Artist History
Starting off with an alternative sound in 1994, Mike, Aaron, and Jason formed what would become a blues/rock band. They named themselves the "Smoking Souls" and gained a small following around the area. Between several member changes and a few ill-fated talent shows, the original line up stuck together. The "Smoking Souls" last performance would take place at Club Laga on March 21, 1998. After taking a year off, Mike and Jason started to develop a close songwriting bond. Armed with several original works, the duo recorded their 1999 release "Songs from the 4-track" under the name "Left of Willing". While attending college in Ohio, Aaron was left out of the action only to return in the summer of 2000. During that time, the three members focused on rebuilding the band and reconstructing their sound. Focused on the summer of 2001, Left Of Willing has broadened their exposure by releasing a new EP soon to be titled. With upcoming shows and radio air play of their new single "Simply Put", Left Of Willing is aiming for the top. |
