    Artist History
After collaborating on various projects with many other local and international artists, I decided to start the "adapt" project on my own. I began dealing with electronic music back in 1995 when I first discovered the Internet. Amazed by the capabilities of a home computer with a simple Sound Blaster card, I started playing, digging deeper and deeper into electronic music. I composed everything using computers and it quickly became a hobby that, in a good sense, took over my life. I started receiving electronic music cd's and tapes from friends in Germany and people that were already involved in the genre. I enjoyed just about anything that sounded just a bit electronic. Though I didn't have a style back then, in time I made a few tracks (mainly trance/psychedelic stuff since at the time was the music that amazed me most) and passed them on to friends over the Internet. By this time I had many friends on the net that "suffered" from the same disease and In late 1996 I met Nexus a producer/musician from Norway (he was originally from Russia). He had an idea of forming a trance-based group, so we got together with a few other guys on the net and made what was called "Cloud 9". I worked with "Cloud 9" for about a year while participating in the BMP2Compo where (Space Rodeo came 8th.) My nickname/release name was "Pherplexer".Locally, my friend (Mark) and I formed a group that was known as Dump 52, where we released minimalistic/technofunk tracks. We had a lot of cooperation with international artists from Germany, the Netherlands and other Countries. As time passed and music became more and more an important element in my life and I started reading and collecting more and more items that involved making electronic music. In time I released tracks under many internet based labels oriented around electronic music : Cloud 9, Subsonic Records, Theralite, Sol Monotone, Total Eclipse, OTR, Raw Shit, D-Cibel, Setup, Rohformat and others. As time passed I went through many names : Pherplexer, Hardwax, Kevin Grant, Mikroloop, Mr.Pinhead,Pascal Nazon(co-op project)B.Rosu (Rohformat releases) Dump 52, Dust, Petalpusher (IDM, there already is an petalpusher that releases nice dub/house music) and now I've finally somewhat settled upon "Adapt". I don't know if this will be a final "version" of my name though I can always try. What is the current status of my musical journey? Well I'm currently a member/co-founder of our local underground organization (that soon will go legal) TMBASE, along with other local artists and dj's and I am still a member of Rohformat (we are currently trying to get our come back EP out). My music is now at a new stage where getting known is a lot harder then it was back in '95 on the Internet with friends on irc. Newer tools and gear are at my disposal along with more projects involving live appearances, new music, new styles, etc….If there's one thing for sure, it's that my musical adventure is far from finished, and if I think about it, it's starting fresh every day. I am currently involved in a trance/bigbeat project called Toxica and we've already signed papers with Roton Records where our album will be in the works very soon.

REVIEWS BY LOUK IN MUSIC MASSAGE SPECIAL :"funk classics part1 - r. van aggelen vs. b. rosu / rohformat sessionsThis is my second favourite Rohformat release, frohikey already chose the Pascal Nazon tracks. This track is really uplifting andfunky. If I was in charge of Rohformat I'd see about getting thefirst track from this EP (the one I've included) released ontovinyl."---"bogdan rosu / fridge : The now defunct Fridge had a string of credible releases varyingfrom trance to techno. This is one of the better techno releasesand where I thought Dupont of Rohformat's tracks were weird, thistrack belongs in a lunatic asylum. That's what makes it appeal tome." REVIEW BY Mr.ARGUS for HTTP://konsumer.de/goodstuff : "Puppets own love song EP : composed by bogdan rosubogdan rosu and px put out another great electro ep on setup. the original mix opens up with a straightforward pumping detroit electro beat and a simple spacey retro c64 melody that gradually increases in complexity. the extended mix deconstructs the original giving the beat a more 4/4 german character and travels into dubby spheres with a deeper melody variation. the primetime of the ep comes at its end. jennifer returnsto the original beat but sets the tempo a bit higherand stacks some cymbals and acid riffs on it. melodyon the other side is recognizable only in traces of the nachtmusik's (nightmusic) harmonics. nothing more then top notch electro with two equally good variations in this ep.
