    The North Atlantic is an indie rock trio from San Diego, California. Fast and loud, quiet and slow, The North Atlantic's music references a diverse group of influences and inspirations, from the Afghan Whigs and Modest Mouse to Hum and Cap'n Jazz. Their first full-length, Buried Under Tundra, was released in June of 2001 on Apple Pi Records.
