Artist History All of the members of The Crippling Effect have played in other punk bands in their local punk scene for many years. Brad and Brian played together previously in Living Proof, Chris started the band Family Man, then later formed the band Confluence with Ryan. Jeff has and is still playing in the band Slab. The Crippling Effect have been playing their instruments for over 13 years and have all paid their dues in one way or another. They have to scratch their heads at the fact that there haven't been any record labels offering to put out a record for them. It must not take talent to get signed to a label these days. The Crippling Effect formed on the basis of it's members being the best from their area.
