Artist History I started my musical path by firstly being inspired by the likes of Mike Oldfield's playing which encouraged me to pick up the guitar and play by ear.I enjoyed jamming with other people at informal folky gatherings which led to being in a band that played covers.It turned out not really what I wanted so it was a short lived but enjoyable experience.My heart lay in composing my own instrumental music with no restrictions. I started to get more interested in synthesisers and recording gear after many times in my student years visiting music shops and dreaming of being able to afford the likes of a Yamaha DX7 (I'm that old) or a sampler.Over the years I have managed to build up a small studio (thanks to technology getting better and cheaper) where I can work on my own style which hopefully does not try to emulate any of my influences. Recently I composed the music for a multimedia presentation for the Lancaster Arts Council celebrating the various Art and Sculpture along the river Lune to mark the Millennium.I have a Photographic-Art and Design background but my passion has always been for music.
