Artist History
Billy and Freddy Choda started out playing with their corns in the barn. Billy got all hot and took off his straw hat and placed it on the hood of gassy gus- the family tractor. All of a sudden, gassy gus came to life! He said: "Happy Birthday! Me is gassy gus the monster truck!" Then he belched out a mile-high cloud of smoke that contained the longest poem in the history of Whatcom County.From these lyrics, the backbone of the mighty CornRaker was formed.Soon the Brothers Choda found Esteban de Rojo,a local lounge singing legend working the dive circuit, and local cornscratcher Cornmaster Jonny 2000.With de Rojo's silky voice and popularity with the lady folk,a hot new club act was born. CornRaker has been packing houses from Chowderheadsville to Cheeseheadsburgh every weekend since. |
