Artist History
Collin Patrick was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, the younger child of an elementary school teacher/administrator and state bank examiner. His mother's musical talents rubbed off on him, and Collin began playing the trumpet in the 4th grade. While it was a rough start, by the end of his high school career, he was ranked first place in the state of Connecticut, won many competitions and honors, and had played wedding gig upon wedding gig. However, guitar later won Collin's heart. Self-taught since the age of 14, Collin attributes his progress in guitar to his trumpet works. In high school, Collin and his friends formed Mile Marker Zero, a band that is still together today, without Collin's presence. While many of his earlier influences included acts like Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, and Aerosmith, he was luckily later introduced to acoustic and folkie masters like Martin Sexton, Dar Williams, Neil Young, and Patty Griffin. He is currently working with Sean Overbeeke, who is also producing Collin's first album. For more information regarding Collin, his music, his fan club, or his tour dates, please contact collinmusic@yahoo.com.
