Artist History Audio Elations truly formed on May 22, 1977 when Bryan Wurlick and Hank Pizinski won 2nd place at their Junior High School's Science Fair. Little did they know that this friendship would soon become the foundation for what would eventually be known as the power pop-rock group of the future, Audio Elations! Although these boys' first love is science (especially astronomy) they were weened on fantastic Los Angeles metal such as Motley Crue, Poison, Quiet Riot, Warrant, and many others! After playing in numberous early 80's LA club scene bands such as "Teased Hair" and "Super Spandex Scorch" (who had a top 40s radio single in early 1984 with "Tongues of Fire") they decided to call it quits and were forced to give up their hopes of rock 'n roll stardom. Luckily, by a twist of fate Bryan and Hank met future Audio Elations frontman Francis Philmun at the NASA Space exhibit in Long Beach, CA over a decade later. Francis was a big fan of SSS and soon convinced the guys that they should give music another chance. After quickly recruiting session pro bassist Stanley Horowitz and much practice in Hank's mom's basement, the band once again attacked the popular music scene and this time won the admiration and love of hundreds of fans worldwide!
