Artist description The Starving Artists Crew are a four man team from Detroit and Flint. Their primary purpose is to make hip hop that sounds like it used to. Funky and jazzy, the SAC never resorts to rhyming over garbage techno beats or lame keyboard tracks.

Artist History SP & IQ hooked up in late 1998 to form The Starving Artists Crew. Shortly after, Phizyx was inducted to perform the DJ duties. After trying various members out, Brainstorm, who had worked with Phizyx before, was inducted in 2000 to breathe new life into the SAC.
