Artist description The Slicked Up 9’s are an 8 piece original music act from Bethlehem, PA. Comprised mostly of college students, their influences include Jazz, Swing, Ska, Rockabilly, Blues and Rock to create a unique and intense style that captivates audiences of all types. Too hard for some swing venues, too upbeat for most blues venues, and too original for main stream / cover band venues… just what is this music? No one knows for sure. But one thing the 9’s do know is that it never ceases to keep listeners coming back for more.

Artist History The 9's have evolved greatly in the last 3 years... now playing a completely original and unique sounding Jump that can be heard no where else. Among the band’s achievements are the release of their debut album, Usual Jive, last summer, a performance with the Grammy-winning Brian Setzer Orchestra as well as multiple performances at the 2000 US Open Tennis Championship in New York City. They now look forward to continually spreading their enticing mix to venues with an ear for good music and demand for something different and exciting.
