Artist History
STASHStash is a four piece original groove metal band from northwest Ohio. Formed in 1997, the band played throughout NW OH until early 1998 when musical differences prompted the replacement of their bass player. With a new bassist now in the unit, they began writing material for their debut release. Hitting the club scene again, they were on the way to making a name for themselves when problems once again arose within the band while laying down drum tracks in the studio. Faced with the choice of replacing their singer or disbanding, the remaining three members chose to trudge forth and hold auditions for a replacement. After one audition they found a person with the determination and talent that their band needed. Taking only two weeks to break in their new vocalist, they reemerged with a new lineup and brand new material for a show they refused to cancel. Now with a tight, solid lineup consisting of guitarist Terry Taylor, drummer Ken White, bassist Mike Saxton, and vocalist Scott Hicks, Stash is proving to be an unstoppable force. Since the current lineup evolved in April of 2000, Stash has completed a five song E. P. Entitled "LooK HumaN" and played numerous shows throughout northwest Ohio & Indiana. Currently working on material for their next album, they have big plans for 2001. |
