Artist History Spike was originally started by Les Sharp in the mid to late 70s with some other local Cincinnati musicians. Once David T. Chastain joined the band the group began their steady climb up the band circuit. These recordings are from the later days of the band. The band reached the pinnacle of Midwestern unsigned bands by touring with Black Sabbath during the Dio days and putting out numerous recordings.
