Artist History
In the summer of 1996 Gregg Hale and Travis Scoresby started playing the guitar. It was here that they envisioned a time when they could play as a band, not to mention the promise of groupies. Gregg played in several bands throughout the years, including the popular British band Spiritualized, and Travis kept busy singing in different functions here and there, but in their minds they always planned on forming their own band together. Then in the Fall of 1999 Gregg and Travis began playing acoustic songs together. Many of these songs were inspired by bands such bands as Alice in Chains and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. It was then that they realized it was their time to form their band. After playing a few 2 man accoustic shows for crowds as big as 4,000 people, they began looking for a drummer and a bass player. It was around ths time the name "Soloman's Fence" emerged. With the addition of Kelly Callister on Bass and Lance Zollinger on drums they were ready to get out the electric guitars and play. They discovered a new sound that was too unlike anything to draw comparisons, and soon gathered a large and very loyal following. After a successful stay in the college town of Rexburg, Lance decided to go on a mission to the Dominican Republic. The experienced drumming prodigy, Logan Linning was brought in to take over the duties of percussion. Later Kelly got married and choose a simpler lifestyle over that of Rock and Roll. This created hole in the band, but was soon filled with the talented Moses Accinelli on Bass. Mo had formerly played with Gregg in the band "Lade To Rest". With the new chemistry, a birrage of new sounds were produced and with the addition of Travis Jarman doing Mixing, sound bites, and lighting, Soloman's Fence was poised for succuess..... |

Press Reviews
Lynzi, the entertainment reporter for "The Scroll" Newspaper in Rexburg Idaho Writes: Lights flashing, an excited crowed jumping around with the beat of the music, the music which can only be described as a unique sound unlike anything bands have played before. Soloman's fence, a band originating in Idaho Falls, Idaho, has a sound unlike anything anyone has ever heard before. Mixing an alternative sound with punk and 70's funk, Soloman's fence has a sound that few have heard, but many bands will likely imitate in later years. The crowd seems to love it too. Whenever and where ever this band plays a show, people come from all over ready to go crazy and have fun while listening to a sound they can get no where else. Critics and crowds alike seem to agree, Soloman's Fence is a name you are sure to see in lights. |
