Artist History
REAL-EYES is a cutting edge underground hip-hop group operating in the Ithaca area.
On the scene since 1998, they have established a local following through heavy
gigging at the areas clubs and private parties.
Their first album "Scholars of Tomorrow" is to be
released on Feb. 14th 2003. This 17 track album
features a variety of other up and coming hip-hop
talent, DJ E-Boogz, J-High, NYCE, and Kartier the
Chemist. REAL-EYES explores all musical angles
ranging from the intellectual latin/dirty south
title track "Scholars of Tomorrow", to the raw
and sexual club sound of "Badonk #7".

Group Members
Originally a three member group, Real-Eyes now consists
of two key players; Eliot E. Rich and Chris C. Edwards.
Both Rich and Edwards produce instrumental beats out of the independent
recording/production studio Mr. E's Productions (also run by E. Rich
and C. Edwards). They are also songwriters and lyricists, and their blend of
their lyrics and studio beat productions comes together as Real-Eyes.
E. Rich is the professional in the group. His experience
with music and production stems back 16 years, a guitarist
by nature, his natural instinct for melody is proven in his
production. His lyrics are slow, melodic, timed
to the melody in the beat, and talk of a worldwide faction
joining hands in search for reform.
C.Edwards is the personality of the group. His
production's charactarize a young man walking the
urban streets with nothing but a walkman as
company. His fearless rhymes test the boundaries of
the mind. His lyrics withhold nothing from the listener,
his naked rant echoes a mantra that clutches todays youth.
