Artist History
I am a classically trained pianist, self-taught guitarist, bassist, drummer, and vocalist. As for the lyrics, I've been writing abstract poetry since about 1993. My parents gave me an electric guitar for Christmas of 1999 so I started playing for about 3 hours a night, but I didn't start writing my own stuff until about October of 2000. Chris Thompson pledged his drumming ability to the efforts. Then, Benjamin Quincy Holder joined me in February 2001, promptly leaving in June 2001 (see the song "F**k Ben"). In October of 2001, "Iconoclast" was finished. It contained 14 original tracks with a little help from Chris Thompson and Chuck Lewis on the drums and Ben with the lyrics. Later that month, Chris, Charlie, Little Timmy Anglin and I started Force of Friction (http://www.mp3.com/forceoffriction) using some of the tunes from Iconoclast as well as some new ones. |
