Artist History
Jesse was born in California and raised in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee. Jesse developed his own unique style of writing and playing in a variety of honky-tonks on Beale Street and the Overton Circuit in and around Memphis. Jesse was featured as lead singer with some of Memphis' hottest groups including Morningstar (acoustic-oriented rock band) Tres (MOR country) and RB and the Gang (fifties band). Jesse moved to Nashville in 1985 to pursue his own career as a solo artist in 1985. |
