Artist description
We are an acoustic rock band that first started out as a two piece coffee house band. We don't exactly fit into any specific catagory, but we're not claiming to be without influence. We just are what we are. "When your wings are wet with your influences, it takes awhile for them to dry." Jeff Martin |

Artist History
All four current members of the band were born and raised in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Formed in late 1999 by Kyle Bender and G.R. Yannacoulias, ISCS was orignally supposed to be just a semi~side project, as Kyle and G.R. were at that time playing in a now defunct punk band. After getting a rough group of songs together, ISCS played various coffee shops and other small gigs around Prince Albert. After a year of playing gigs the band started looking for accompaniment, something that would give them a unique sound. Jody Busch was then recruited to primarily play cello, along with other various instruments. After only two live gigs together, Jody decided she need something called "post secondary education," and was forced to move. Forced to return to the two piece format, the band played a few more gigs before deciding to write an album with a full band sound, drums and all. They recruited Barrett Prokopie as a session drummer and now a live drummer, he did all the drumming for the almost completed album, and will be playing his first gig with the band at the Earth Day celebration at Kinsmen Park. G.R.'s older brother Wil has been invited to play live with the band, and where this will lead, who knows... |
