Artist History
Francois D'Orio grew up amid the warehouses and factories of a working-class Chicago suburb. She later went to New YorkCity, where she studied literary theory and wrote fiction. From there, she moved to London, and acquired a taste forall sorts of indie rock. Somehow, years later, she wound up teaching high school in Texas, where she developeda fascination with country music. Eventually returning to her nativeChicago, she decided to combine her writing and musical interests, and "Who's Chris?" was born. And Who, exactly, IS Chris? Francois's not saying... |
