Artist History Take Down started out in the summer of 2000 when Mark Ackerman and Adam Denny, who had history in other bands from the past, got together with Lucas Nielson to goof off and have fun. They settled on the name Take Down, and stuck to the practice room for about 6 months just writing cool songs. In September of 2000, Adam Mott joined up and the style went from a bass led 3 piece to a melodic, guitar led new school punk rock band. All went well until the fall of 2001 when mark and adam left to pursue other interests and luke and adam invited paul caustic (from a band called the caustics) to step in n guitar. they wrote all new songs in a more mature style and are now kickin it three piece once again.
