Artist description An intergalactic space ranger who moonlights as a go-go dancer in the seedy underground nightclubs of Madagascar, Q*Ball is poised to make his mark on the international music scene with his unique brand of electro-pop. His origins are unknown – some say Brooklyn, New York, though historians trace his earliest existence to Endor, where he may or may not have been raised by prehistoric Ewoks. Q*Ball's music is accessible to fans of mainstream pop & alternative music, but also has an audience in the underground DJ scene. Songs like "Edith," a bump-and-grind instrumental tribute to All In The Family's Edith Bunker, and "Licky," a soon-to-be club anthem, illustrate the dance hall appeal of Q*Ball's music, while songs like "Committed" & "Get On The Bus" remind one of U2 on one of their Pop-era binges. Local behemoth radio station Z100, a staunch Q*Ball supporter, recently played "Get On The Bus" during a memorable morning show bit. Q*Ball has also been getting great initial response on Internet radio & new-music shows across the globe.
