Artist History chris magana and keith white pretty much started this group in seventh grade, it's been evolving with various members over the last 7 years. when chris started school at mira loma high, he met up with brian poxon and jason walker who without a doubt fit into the group. the group at this time was called ALC(afterlyfe click) it was basically a product of horrorcore, with minor sounding beats and dark lyrics. Around sophomore year the group was not producing much so they parted ways. jason and brian started the warlords, and keith and chris started AWOL(artistic words of life). neither group was doing much, if anything everyone was working on solo stuff most of the time. during this time chris produced urban poetry, which was a solo project that featured everyone from ALC and pretty much reunited the group again. this was also the first project to include andrea brizendine, and jonathan villavert. after graduation all group members started attending ARC but friendships seemed to drift. chris met up with sam kuznetzof and began working on some tracks. after getting his hands on some better recording equipment and software, chris produced urban poetry part 2(libretto19) which featured keith, brian, jason, andrea, sam, brandon trowel, jenni bartlett, pat ziller, and jesse stout. making this album got everyone excited about recording again so the group pennance was recently formed. it's been a long time in the making but the group members are like a family at this point.
