Artist History In the final analysis,the truth of God and his Holy Spirit always triumphs. Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but the truth of God and his only "begotten son "Jesus shall stand forever. It was the worst of years; it was the best of times...It was the epoch of belief..when everything went wrong, and then everything went right because of God's Holy Spirit...leading, guiding and directing our paths to his righteousness. The Emmanuel Baptist Church Male Chorus...was officially inaugurated in October 1978, after previous attempts since 1973. Spurred on by the visit of Reverend James Cleveland and his group to San Jose, California in early 1973, attempts were made to start a Male Chorus. However...the group disbanded six months after its inception. The current EBC Male Chorus was born out of a need to provide music for the 8:00 a.m. Sunday Service, as the church did not have a choir during this service. The group got its first assignment to sing at the early morning service for six months after its inception. During this assignment a quintet of chorus members glorified God and his son, Jesus, in songs. Since that time the chorus sings monthly for Emmanuel's Church Service and many other external functions.
