Artist description
Crinto In The Sun could be credited as the pioneer of the Longmeadow electronic scene. He originally was the primary user of "Acid Software", and with an arsenal of percusion / acid / vocal samples, he wrote some of the best electronic tracks locally. Rewind: Crinto In The Sun is one-man-army Jess McKay, who likes electronic music as far as he can throw it. His efforts to contribute to the elctronic community were out of pure experimentation and enjoyment. Shortlived, he now dabbles in rap-vocal remixes. Let's not overlook the highlights though; singles like "Baby", "Starin At The Sun", and "Calico" that helped introduce a new style to a overlooked genre. Oh yes. All these singles (as well as his other hits) can be found on his one and only album effort, "Calico". It was this achievement that paved the way for the likes of Dash420, Inso, and the wizard of electronica himself Vepik. That's a lot right there: music, artists, fans... We may be inflating the history a bit much here, but the facts are the facts. Crinto In The Sun equals chill out funk and dubilicious dance. |
