Artist description
Toxic Shock consists of a teenage kid, his computer, and a small [but growing] collection of gear.I basically fool around until I end up with something that won't hurt my ears.Give it a shot. Practically every song sounds different, so if you don't like one, you may love another. |

Artist History
About 3 years ago a friend of mine got me into electronic music. Shortly thereafter I found out that I could make it myself. So I came up with the name Toxic Shock and started making things.By this point, 3 years later, I've made enough okay stuff [not counting the piles of horrible stuff] to put up on mp3.com, just for gits & shiggles.Who can say what the future will hold? More mediocre music! |

Group Members
The only human member of the band is me, Chris Belanger. My many functions include: synth programming, drum patterns, sequencing, mixing, producing, violin playing, conceptualization, and some other things.I'm not terribly good at any of them. I aspire to someday compose something with musical value. Think of me as like a really crappy Trent Reznor who can't carry a tune.I'm a real person. E-mail me if you have any opinions whatsoever on anything I've made. |
|
Instruments
My gear at the moment consists of: pentium II 333mHz and assorted software, a Yamaha electric violin, a ZOOM GFX-707 effects pedal, and sometimes a Roland R-5 Human Rhythm composer. |
