Artist description
TrysT is the project of Steve Salisbury, a young man with a dream. Around January 2001, he and good friend Andy Barrow stepped into Andy's studio and put out ten great tracks. Since then, Andy moved to Florida, and Steve continued writing, eventually laying down the hit track "My Shadows". Now Steve is putting together a live band in Seattle |

Artist History
Steve Salisbury wanted to do something spectacular for the 2000 Amnesty International Benefit Concert to be held at the International School of Brussels. After recruiting Marcus Holmlund to play guitar, Aaron Lasher on drums and Roman on Bass, everything looked set. The four knew it would only be a one time show due to the fact that they all had other obligations to fullfill. One day, Andy Barrow moved to Belgium after briefly attending Berklee College of Music and contacted Steve about performing with the band. From there everything was perfect. The Amnesty show consisted mostly of cover songs, but after the concert everyone went their seperate ways except for Andy and Steve who horded themselves in Andy's basement room and came up with approximately 15-20 tracks within three months. Ten of those tracks can be found on their debut album, which was released in March 2001 and distributed by Steve and Andy. Now in Seattle, Steve is re-building TrysT and has been working on several new tracks ("My Shadows" for example)... Seattle (and the world for that matter) will never be the same again... |
