Artist History Supreem started is claim to fame in the hip hop world in the early 90's. He was 1/3 of the Hot group Da Regulaterz, which have put out two hot underground singles; "Listen up" & "Six minites two show". The video for "Six minites two show" was the most requested video on the local Philly video show Urban Xpression. Due to creative differences the group choosed split and do solo projects. Now the Da Reglata Supreem is on his own along with DJ Exotic D and Producer Docta Shock to make Philly Hip Hop History.

Press Reviews "From the City of Brotherly Love, the place that brought you Steady B, 3 Times Dope, and Cool C, comes Supreem Da Regulata and Darkworld Entertainment. The double single contains the tracks "Where I'm From" and "I'm Wid it," both produced by Docta Shock. "Where I'm From" is a wild out dedication to Supreem's hometown of Philly, and proves home is where the heart is. Supreem's love shows through on, "If it wasn't for my city, yo, where would I be?" The hook "where I'm from - Philly, where you from - Philly" will undoubtedly rock the local venues. You can picture 300 Philly cats losing their minds for this call and response hook. The gravel voiced Supreem keeps the lyrics simple and rides the bounce beat well. He thanks Eve and Beanie for pushing along the Philly hip hop scene and mentions eating "Philly steaks for days." Proving that Beanie isn't the only one speaking the truth, Supreem reflects "My art don't mean jack if my city ain't down, when I ride around town people giving me pounds." No doubt? Docta Shock lets loose a sinister beat for "I'm Wid It." The track 's filled with adrenaline, in particular, the final verse. Previously, Supreem didn't touch all my senses lyrically, but this verse had me rewinding. He mocks the competition, "Nowadays niggas are hard with no scars to back it, my team living large wearing Darkworld jackets." The hook does not inspire, but serves the purpose of this bum rush anthem. With a unique voice, Supreem has the potential to stand apart from other MC's. My only criticism deals with the repetitive hooks, and the average listener's ability to distinguish the difference between both joints. Lyrically, Supreem must become more intricate and stray from the cliched topics of the rap game. As a listener, I want to know what Supreem represents that no one else does.
