Artist History
Dirty Hands presents "Ear Candy", the long awaited solo release from KMG - the raspy, ghetto voice behind the legandary west coast rap group Above the Law. KMG, Cold 187um and K-oss (Above the Law) signed to Ruthless Records in 1987, after impressing the ears of rap music mogul and "gansta rap" priginator Eric "Eazy-E" Wright. Above the Law went on to release several albums, developing a global fan base and a cult-like following, while achieving extreme underground and mainstream sucess over the past 14 years. KMG, known for his lavish, "ain't-nothing-like-a-gansta-party" hooks and ghetto style, offers listeners a little 'ear candy" on his first solo album. A personal account of his life and times as a street hustler-turned-ghetto superstar and rap legend, Ear Candy balances the street hustle with star quility deliverded over head bangin' tracks, featuring guest appearances from Kokane, Cee-Lo, Chill and Big Roc, among others. KMG, born in Los Angeles and bred in Pomona, California, traded the hustle for art that imitates life via gansta rap music. His style and endless energy reflect his passion for music...his track record reflects his significance as a major factor to the West Coast hip-hip movement. His new effort is the next phase for the millennium... guaranteed to have you coming back for a little more Ear Candy. |
