Artist History Jeremy O'Sullivan, a singer-songwriter out of Cork City, got his musical start singing traditional ballads in the pubs of Ireland. Now, over a decade later, Jeremy continues to entertain audiences singing sean-nos style (old style Irish singing), as well as performing his own well-crafted, contemporary folk songs. Moving to Madison, WI in the year 2000, Jeremy immediately began making a name for himself in the local music scene. Anyone who has heard Jeremy has been captivated by his enchanting vocals and solid guitar work. Past notable performances include opening for Duende (a West Virginia contemporary folk duo) in Madison during their 2000 Midwest tour, performing for the WYOU St. Patrick's Day 2001 television special, and appearing as a special guest with Joy Dragland at both the King Club and Orpheum theatre. More recently, Jeremy provided pre-show vocals for a production of Dancing at Lughnasa, an Irish play presented at Madisonšs own Bartell Theatre. Also, in addition to his solo career as a singer-songwriter, Jeremy co-hosted an open mic at the Speed Jump Java Joint in Madison, and was seen last Summer at the Milwaukee Irish Fest and Chicago Celtic Fest as a featured performer with the traditional folk band "The Snug." ....and he'll be there again this year!
