Artist History I started playing the flute in grade school and continued to play and perform thoughout junior high, high school and beyond. Most of the music that I enjoyed playing, were the fast pieces, so its really no surprise that dance music would become one of my main interests. As a matter of fact, some folks started calling me "gene gene the dancing machine." I always kept in the back of my mind that i wanted to do a dance album. I never got around to it until now because of listening to what others think and say. To fast forward through " a very longggggg story", a couple of years ago I took a class at Church. The Class, "Journey Into Self," was created for the soul purpose of helping individuals work toward their drearms, "their Reason for Being" , or help us create a greater picture of ourselves. In the middle of the course, The Instructor suggested to the students, that we think about what it is we wanna be doing a year from now. And whatever that "thing" is, just do it. Dont worry about what friends might say. Dont worry about all the stuff that might be going around in your head. Dont even worry about what yourself might think. I went for it. "WOW NO WORRIES???" Sure enough the next day after I got in from work, I jumped on the computer and started to work on "Love, To Me, Is..."

I prefer pompous pseudo-intellectual lyrics. You could add more depression, misery, hopelessness and nihilism to the lyrics to get my ear.
