Artist description Frustrum is an original take on extreme metal. Members age from 18-23 (2001)

Music Style Death/Black Metal

Artist History Dani and Jason had been playing together for a few years before Hal joined in 1999. Mike and Pierre were recruited only a month before the band played its first gig ('Day of Death' tribute to Chuck Schuldiner) in April 2000. A poorly-produced, two-track tape was released to coincide with the gig and is now possessed by around 300 people. After the tape had circulated, the band became stronger and new songs were written and recorded. Though they are unreleased, the band has decided to use them as mp3 promotional material. Frustrum will record their debut album in the summer of 2001, hopefully with a label release.
