Artist History
In the winter of 1988, Deborah Humphreys was a featured reader at the Poetry Project at St. Mark's NYC.Since then, she has been the welcome guest at a great number of gatherings--from WBAI Radio,Cablevision, Teach-ins (yes, 1990's), and poetry readings at venues in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania as well as at events wherever two or more are gathered for the opportunity to feast upon the words and images of lives, single and collective. Since then the always-on tour has gone to WBAI radio,NYC-Teach-ins, ShelterARTS (homeless shelters in Newark, NJ), Can of Corn Poetry Readings, Hoboken Studio Arts Tour, Cablevision, and Ireland. |
