Artist description
Calista plays a melodical, deep and depressing, guitar-based gothic metal. All of the songs are self composed and arranged. The vocals are both male and female. The female vocals are preformed by Carmen Elise Espenæs, the sister of Theatre of Tragedy's Liv Kristine Espenæs. Male vocals are combined both "death" and clean vocal. The guitars are played most parts with acustic classical sounds, together with the distortion guitar and Calista's music composements are most often based on this instrument (acustic guitar). |
