Artist History WE was started in 1991. The band played various gigs around Oslo. A demo called SOAP was recorded in a dirty old studio in 1992 (8 track only).Early in 1993 WE teamed up with Goshie(bass) after a mysterious loss of the old bassplayer.After an intense period of writing and playing, WE had so many new songs so it was time to make an album.Børre Løvik(Life but how to live it.., Stengte Dører, So much Hate) was chosen as engineer for the first album"In a Field of Moose". This album was recorded in the very first location of Endless Studios. The studio was run by musicians from "Sister Rain". "In a Field of Moose" was released on Nun Music fall 1994.Easter 1996 WE signed to Voices of Wonder and went back into studio. This time at Atletic Sound and with Kai Andersen as engineer and co. producer.Helge Steen (deathprod, Motorpsyco) mixed the album that finally was named "Violently Coloured Sneakers". After their first german tour feb.97 WE hauled their asses back into studio.This time HangaroudSounds in Oslo. The band decided to do everything for themselves. So with a little help from our friends, Stig Thoresen and Trond Løland(engineers),WE recorded the album "Wooferwheels" that was released Sept. 97 on Voices of Wonder. After two tours in Germany and a lot of gigs in Norway, WE signed with the booking agency, Paperclip from Holland, for booking all over Europe.Fall 98 We went back into HangaroundSounds, this time only with help from Stig Thoresen and recorded "Livin' the Lore". This time more dirty, less effects and lots of drugs added to the sound. Livin' the Lore was released April/May 99 through Europe.Tour of Europe fall 1999 with Masters of Reality(USA)From the Spaceways was released in Febuary 2000 on Drunken Maria(Holland)This was another HanaroundSounds production. Recorded on an old twelve track.Spring 2001 WE released a 12" vinyl "Ridin' the red horse to the last stronghold of the freaks" on Burnt Hippie Records. It's a split between danish Gas Giant and WE
