Artist History The Tinbenders started out in February of 1996 in Columbia South Carolina. Their name at that time was The Tonics until the explosion of the group Tonic when they decided it was time to change their name to The Tinbenders. They released their first recording in November of 1998 and have been gaining momentum ever since.
