Press Reviews
Eyeing the Balboas’ press kit photo, I detected something sinister lurking behind the four matching jacket and tie ensemble (not to mention the bass player’s sassy bouffant). The music proved me right. You can dress them up, but there’s no disguising the sometimes demented, always full-force surf of this bad-ass Akron band.
