Artist History
Founded in 1991 by Luis Gutiérrez, Charlie Mejía, Ricardo García and Juan F. Díaz. Juan left the band some months after the foundation of SN....In 1993 was our 1st real concert in a pub in Medellín. Some months after this, Juan Camilo Álvarez is the new drummer.1994: the band releases its 1st EP7 single containing "Ideas de TV" and "Despertar". "Ideas de TV" was played well by the local radio stations.1995: Luis Gutiérrez left the band as a guitar player, and Juan Camilo will only be drummer live.1996-1998: Ricardo and Charlie recorded their 1st CD: Sector Extremo. On 1999, Ricardo left the band, and Charlie re-arms the band with Camilo Álvarez and the new musicians ...So many musicians have passed through the band. Year 2000: Camilo left the band .. On 1999, Señal Nocturna played live at Teleantioquia (regional TV channel), and its album "Sector Extremo" was nominated by the Colombian "Shock" magazine. The band and their two releases also have some articles from local newspapers. June-December 2000: the band is touring Colombia playing concerts in different events, public places and pubs. |
