Artist description
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, the Home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock and Roll, Scott
Sudbury was literally raised on music. As a young boy, he was taken to many concerts and local
festivals in the late 70's and early 80's. It was here Scott would be exposed to such legendary
performers as Furry Lewis, Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters as well as the contemporary sounds of
Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, and Ted Nugent. As a teenager, Scott's musical interest turned into action
when he picked up the guitar. Scott's inspiration to play came from Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman.

Press Reviews
If you dig rock hitmakers such as Sammy Hagar, Loverboy, and Sting, then your man is Scott
Sudbury and his new CD 'Static On My Radio'. The title track rivals 'I Can't Drive 55' as a
four-to-the-floor party anthem. 'Tonight' cruises upside 'Working for the Weekend'. 'The Letting Go'
has that chinka-chinka balad feel of 'Every Breath You Take'.
No tricks, no posing, no pretension, just heart-on-your-sleeve
rock and roll with a slight rootsy feel.
If you're looking for something refreshing to listen to, then take
the time and give this album a listen. |
